We recently had a visit from our friend Menno, the man behind Holland’s most innovative craft brewery, Brouwerij De Molen. Naturally we had to cook up something big and this Imperial Coffee Stout was born. We’ve used cold- extracted coffee roasted locally by Sognefjord Kaffibrenneri and about 30% dark malts in the brew, which boasts flavors of chocolate, coffee, and nuts. This is a beer to take your time enjoying, and it should be served around 15°C.
